Hi, let’s be friends!

My photo journey

Capturing a moment that will turn into a memory has been something I have loved for a very long time. As a child, I remember picking up my grandma’s camera every chance I got. I started snapping photos of everything around her house. When I was around six years old, I started asking for a camera every year for Christmas. I received multiple throughout the years but not at all the kind I had in mind. They were all tiny, you could hardly see the screen, nothing could have been done with the photos, and even if you could print them, the quality would have been the worst thing you ever laid your eyes on. Looking back, it is obvious why a grade schooler would not be gifted a professional camera, but a girl sure can dream!

Soon after my thirteenth birthday, I had enough money saved up to purchase my first DSLR camera. Slowly but surely, my portfolio grew, and I would not be where I am with photos today if it were not for those very trusting people in my early photography days. I have grown immensely in my knowledge and skill since then, but truly, I will never stop learning and I could not be more grateful for this job.

My vision for photographing

The idea of freezing time in the stillness of a photo is fascinating to me. You know those photos when you look back at them, you remember details about the day they were taken that you otherwise would forget ever existed? That is what I want my photos to provide. I am at a place in my photo journey where I want to photograph people just being people. Less posing and more creativity. Less stress and more fun. I would love to connect and document where you are at in life!
